  • Dissertation Defense

                                           

    Morteza Sedaghat successfully defended his PhD dissertation on June 29th, 2010 as the first graduate of IPM's School of Analytic Philosophy.
    His dissertation, The Normativity of Meaning, was supervised by Dr. Mehdi Nasrin.

        

 
IPM Philosophy Reading Group:
  •  Reading Sellars’ Empiricism and the Philosophy of Mind

A reading group to discuss Wilfrid Sellars’ seminal work Empiricism and the Philosophy of Mind, centered on a close reading of the text and deVries and Triplett' commentary on it, Knowledge, Mind, and the Given (2000).

When: Tuesdays, 4–6pm, (starting: 4 May 2010)
Where: Hall 2, IPM Building, Niavaran.
