School of PHILOSOPHY

IPM reading group in philosophy plans to peruse Timothy Williamson's Knowledge and Its Limits (OUP, 2000).

Starting from July 5th, the sessions will be held on Mondays at IPM Niavaran's Bldg., Hall 2, from 14:00 till 16:00.

Participants are supposed to have read the designated parts of the book prior to each session. On the first session, Mohsen Zamani will present the Introduction (pp. 1-20). more

Rationality and Action Reading Group

The Rationality and Action Reading Group is to discuss selected papers from Davidson’s Essays on Actions and Events. The papers which are selected are as follows:

6. Mental Events (1970)

7. Psychology as Philosophy (1974)

8. Hempel on Explaining Action (1976)
